Pelican State Treating was founded to deliver unmatched service in gas dehydration, filtration and field operations – built on a foundation of safety, reliability and deep field experience. Since our founding, we’ve always been focused on fulfilling our clients’ amine and glycol dehy needs. Our team handles every issue you may have with your unit and works on it to your satisfaction, whether it’s a simple repair or a costly replacement.
Colvin Robinson
With 17 years of experience in plant facility and field operations within the natural gas industry, I possess comprehensive expertise in gathering, processing, and transmission, with a specialized focus on dehy, amine, and cryogenic processes. My career began on a drilling rig for Patterson before transitioning to Midstream operations. In 2021, I founded my own company, Pelican State Treating. Before my career in the natural gas industry, I served in the Air Force as a KC-135 crew chief, stationed at Grand Forks, ND, from 2004-2008, and in the reserves at Barksdale AFB in Bossier City, LA, in 2009.
I am a highly detailed and goal-oriented individual, with a strong commitment to safety and a reputation as a quick learner. My educational background includes an Associate of Science degree in Drafting and Design. I am currently pursuing a major in Technical Management at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
I married the love of my life in 2010, Whitney Robinson, and we have 3 children – Trenton, Ella and Jack.
Jason Evans
Jason Evans brings over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, marked by a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of filtration and gas dehydration processes.
He began his career at Hi-Plains Filtration, a company known for providing specialized filtration products and equipment to a wide range of industrial clients. Starting as a salesman, Jason quickly established himself as a knowledgeable and trusted professional, building strong client relationships and contributing to long-term growth.
In 2019, he joined GLY-TECH Services, Inc., where he expanded his expertise in gas dehydration systems and vessel internals. His hands-on experience with mist extractors, internals, and turnkey equipment services made him a go-to resource for both technical support and field execution.
In 2024, Jason took on the role of Operations Manager at Pelican State Treating, where he now leads field operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. His leadership and industry insight have made him an essential part of the company’s continued success.
Jason holds a degree in Business Management and Marketing from the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM). He has been happily married to his wife, Julie, for 25 years, and they are proud parents of their son, Ethan, who is set to graduate from Louisiana State University (LSU).
